Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Playmatch app and website ("Playmatch", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Playmatch.
1. Who can use Playmatch
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may have one account, used only by you, and you must provide accurate information, including your date of birth.
2. What Playmatch is
Playmatch is an entertainment service: a dating app in which people meet by playing question games. We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, that any match will succeed, or that any person is who they say they are. Use judgment and care when meeting anyone in person.
3. Computer-generated players
To make sure a game is always available, Playmatch may pair you with a computer-generated player when no suitable person is online. Such players exist for gameplay only; they do not chat, meet or form connections. We use them while the community is growing and will reduce their use as it does.
4. Your conduct
You agree not to: post sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content; harass, threaten or deceive anyone; impersonate another person; use photos that are not yours; be under 18 or interact with anyone you believe is under 18; use automated tools or attempt to bypass the game's rules or payment system. We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice, and we may keep reported content for review.
5. Hearts and purchases
Hearts are virtual items with no cash value. They are sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms, and used only inside Playmatch. Hearts are non-transferable and non-refundable once used. We may change the price or rules of hearts at any time for future purchases. Free hearts (for example from play streaks) are promotional and may be changed or withdrawn.
6. Reveals and your content
You decide what you share. Your name, photo and profile are shown to another player only when both of you agree, as described in the app. You keep ownership of your photos and text and grant us a license to store, display and transmit them to operate Playmatch. Do not share anything you do not have the right to share.
7. Safety and reports
You can block or report any player. We review reports and may act on them, but we cannot guarantee the behavior of others. Playmatch is not responsible for interactions that happen outside the app.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is part of these Terms.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or where required by law.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Playmatch is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from Playmatch shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, the version number and date change, and the app will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
